What’s New? December Updates

What’s New? December Updates

What’s new this month in the Uizard editor? The Uizard team has been hard at work this holiday season to ensure that you can design faster, and more efficiently than ever before. As well as giving you the option to offer your input on our Autodesigner widget so we can improve and evolve. So, let us run through our two new updates for the month of December.

Measuring Tool

Feature Feedback

Measuring Tool

Using Handoff Mode on the right hand design panel, you can now select a component in the Uizard editor and measure the distance between it, and any other component you hover over. Not only does this help you to gauge the precision of a design screen’s layout, but it can also help with the level of consistency from one page design to another.

The measuring tool can even show the distance between a component and the design screen border, so you can make sure that everything is perfectly aligned. This can then be used as guidelines on following screens in which the component is required in the exact same position. Great, right?

Feature Feedback

When you use the Autodesigner widget at the bottom of the editor to expand or make changes to your UI design, you will now receive an optional feedback comment.

Feature feedback comments on our theme, screen and image generations help to not only provide our team with insights into how you are finding the widget, but to improve it as well. Feel free to leave honest suggestions by clicking the ‘no’ option when appropriate. As detailed in the image below, you can then go ahead and submit your feedback directly to our team.

At Uizard we are always evolving and creating new ways to make your design experience quicker, easier, and more seamless than ever before.

So stay tuned for more amazing updates in the new year! Happy holidays from the Uizard team.
